Easter Ostrich Egg Roll
Following in the tradition of the U.S. White House, we've decided do conduct our own EASTER EGG ROLL at Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard THIS SATURDAY APRIL 20th.
There are two big differences between our egg roll and the one at the White House: 1) Kids must be 21 or over, and 2) We're using real ostrich eggs! * No purchase necessary AND you could win prizes like free May wine club or a fun Easter basket (that includes wine!). Just "show up" to play!
The Easter Egg Roll takes place at 2pm and 4pm this Saturday.
Enjoy live music in the pavilion and good things to eat from the BOWV kitchen. Live Music every Saturday and Sunday in July!

NYour next wine club pick up begins on May 2nd and if you have your wines shipped you should look for them on or around May 8th.

3 reasons to keep Blue Ostrich on your short list of summer getaways
1) Live music with no cover charge every Saturday afternoon. This Saturday, June 29th, we welcome Dusty Jones to the pavilion, performing from 2pm - 6pm
2) Lunch special every Saturday, starting when we open at 12 noon. Fun foods to match and pair with our wines. This Saturday enjoy cheesy chicken quesadillas for $7 (mmmmm...cheese!)
3) There are always fun, new wines to try. This Saturday we're featuring the release of our first Texas Sangiovese since 2015. Medium body with a nice toasty finish, this is a Chianti style dry red that pairs oh so well with cheeses, pasta and red sauce and pizza! Now available at $25 per bottle (15% discount applied to wine club member purchases).
Annual grape harvest is just around the corner! The estate Tempranillo is getting darker and sweeter as it ripens, and that's exactly what our winemaker wants. Purple skins for color extraction and plenty of natural sugar to aid in the fermentation process. We'll be harvesting grapes in mid August, and as always we welcome the participation of any and all who are interested in getting the first hand CRUSH experience.
Blue Ostrich "harvest parties" include complimentary lunch AND wine for all who participate (must be 21 and over). Send an e-mail to: email@example.com and just say "YES, I WANT TO HELP PICK GRAPES." Get your name on the list and we'll get back to you with details and options for harvest dates.
This Sunday, Nov. 11, is Veterans Day and we'd like to offer a complimentary glass of wine to any of our guests who have served. We know that discounts and freebies are not what Veterans Day is rally about, however it's just our way of offering a small token of our appreciation for your service. Cheers!
