BLUE OSTRICH - COVID-19 UPDATE
Although Governor Abbott’s EO GA 28 rules do remain in place until further notice, Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard has successfully petitioned the TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) to allow us to re-open under the 51% rule.
This means that in order to remain open, Blue Ostrich must derive at least half of our revenue from non-alcohol sales.
This, in a way, makes us more like a restaurant at this time, BUT we can re-open.
We are excited and happy to welcome all of our guests back, especially wine club members.
RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
IMPORTANT: Under our revised operating guidelines, guests may only consume food and wine purchased from Blue Ostrich. That means no coolers, picnic baskets or outside food of any kind will be allowed at this time. We realize that many of our guests prefer to bring their own food, however we ask you to understand that these are the terms that we agreed to with the TABC in order to re-open our facility at this time. Like a restaurant, all food and beverage must be served by our staff.
